Spring is for…slurping juice

You can get an endless number of recipes for juices. I’ve tried hundreds of combinations over the years. Ultimately, in my opinion: the simpler, the better.

Here’s one of my all-time favourites which I drink year round. Somehow, it always taste better when the sun’s shining.
It contains just two ingredients:


4 carrots
1 pink grapefruit, skin removed

Perfect as it is, but if you feel like trying a variation, then add one of the following:
– a knob of fresh ginger
– a handful of goji berries (pre-soaked)
– a heaped teaspoon of bee pollen (use as a garnish)

The colour and taste will uplift you. Mood food. Enjoy the sunshine.
